REACH is the EU Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals Regulation (1907/2006).
PowerShield Group is a New Zealand Electronics Manufacturer established for the exclusive production of PowerShield’s battery monitoring products. PowerShield Group does not directly use SVHC (substance of very high concern) as defined by the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) but part of a commitment to REACH compliance does require Suppliers to comply with the REACH directive where a finished product provided may contain SVHC.
PowerShield Group is committed to managing the use of chemical substances in accordance with governmental regulations, industry standards, and customer-specific requirements in order to protect the environment. In accordance with ECHA guidance and consistent with industry practices, PowerShield Group does not support analytical testing for SVHCs. SVHC information is based on the knowledge of materials used in the finished products and information provided by suppliers which is maintained as a quality record as part of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 compliance.
Based on the REACH legislation including the latest amendment Regulation (EU) 2016/1688 and Supplier Declarations, PowerShield products produced for PowerShield to the best of our current knowledge and belief have no restrictions and meet the SVHC requirements.
